George's Story
George Suganuma is a dedicated youth combat sports athlete competing in the Junior Welterweight division. Based in the United States, his regular coaching team consists of Yasunori Matsumoto Sensei and Chris Ortiz Sensei for Shidokan Karate, and Bruce Panyapol for Muay Thai.
His martial arts journey began in Shidokan Karate, a system known for integrating knockdown karate with Judo and Muay Thai concepts. Through consistent discipline and technical focus, George earned his Shidokan Black Belt at the age of 10.

The Shidokan Foundation
Shidokan Karate provides George's martial arts foundation. Under the guidance of his regular coaches, Yasunori Matsumoto Sensei and Chris Ortiz Sensei, George earned his Shidokan Black Belt at age 10. He has also had the honor of meeting Yoshiji Soeno, the founder of the Shidokan system.

George's regular Muay Thai coach is Bruce Panyapol. Alongside his primary training, George has had the opportunity to take lessons from notable martial artists such as "Smokin'" Joe Nattawut and Kronphet "Diamond Hands" Phetrachapat, and has met Muay Thai legend Saenchai.
